PONTE VEDRA, Fla. - (08/10/05) -- Global Axcess Corp., the operator ofa independent fleet of ATMs co-branded for credit unions andcommunity banks, said Tuesday it has agreed to acquire 1,500 moreATM sites, pushing the number of cash machines under management to5,000. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Global Axcess operatesthe co-branded ATMs for credit unions and community banks throughits 'Branded Cash' program and also offers a prepaid debit cardprogram it calls 'Easy Green'.
