LAS VEGAS - (03/24/05) -- Global Cash Access, the largestprovider of cash services and equipment to the world's casinos,said it plans to raise up to $475 million with an initial publicoffering. The company is owned by Boston-based venture firm SummitPartners, which acquired it just six weeks after GCA's managementbought from First Data Corp. GCA provides ATMs, cash management andelectronic funds transfers at more than 1,000 gambling sites andcompanies around the world, including Harrah's Entertainment,Caesar's Entertainment, Mandalay Bay Resort, Foxwoods Resort andMohegan Sun.
