NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. – The Madison County Board of Supervisors approved an agreement last week allowing GPO FCU to place an ATM in the county office building in exchange for a percentage of surcharge fees collected on transactions.

The three-year deal call for the county to earn 25% of the surcharge fees earned from the ATM, which will be placed in the lobby of the main office building. The credit union will be responsible for all maintenance and service of the machine.
The machine will be used mainly by county employees and residents who visit the county offices for the Department of Motor Vehicles or the clerk’s office.
