Greylock Exchanges Cash Letter

Greylock FCU became the first credit union in the New England region last week to successfully exchange an outgoing image cash letter, known as FED Forward, with the Boston Federal Reserve, a key step in the complete image-based exchange of checks. To facilitate the exchange, the credit union used NCR Corp.'s ImageMark Ncompass system, which is a complete Windows-based, check imaging application.

Greylock FCU's system includes NCR's iTRAN image-based transports for image capture, along with a long-term image archive. The archive supports enterprise-wide research capability for all of the credit union's employees and provides Internet access to those images for the credit union's members
