RICHLAND, Wash. – HAPO Community CU plans an $8 million renovation of its headquarters and main branch here.
The renovation on the 40,000-square-foot building is scheduled to begin in June and take one year to finish.
The existing HAPO facility was built in 1978 when the credit union – now with more than $900 million in assets – had just 18,000 members and 22 staff. Today it has 82,000 members and 230 employees.
