INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Members CU has raised more than $48,000 in its school supply campaign to equip children with backpacks and other school supplies.

The money is a result of selling candy at 24 branches in central Indiana, along with employee fundraisers — including ‘Bowling for Backpacks’ and the inaugural IMCU Rummage Sale and Car Wash. To date, IMCU has raised enough money to donate 62,500 school supplies.
The branches will each have collection bins in their branch lobbies during business hours from now until July 31. IMCU employees will also volunteer their time to load the backpacks at their ‘Stuffing Party’ on Aug. 8.
