LIBERTY LAKE, Wash.-CUSO CU*NorthWest has implemented new technology that allows for nightly back office processing and backups to occur while members not only view those accounts but also conduct transactions. With this new software, the It'sMe247 web banking product will remain online and interactive at all times. The CUSO has also created a new feature that allows for the transfer of funds to and from other financial institutions for both It'sMe247 and the CUSO's CU*BASE core processing solution.

CUs can now activate transfers, set maximum dollar amounts and configure member fees.

Apple FCU Using CodeGreen

FAIRFAX, Va.-Apple Federal Credit Union here is now utilizing CodeGreen's online BranchMap ATM/Branch locator tool to help retain high school and college students as members. Graduating students never have to leave Apple because they can locate shared branches and surcharge-free ATMs anywhere in the country. BranchMap consolidates multiple ATM network locations into one interactive search and mapping tool, without sending members away from its website and allows members to search nationwide, zoom in and out, see satellite photos, get driving directions and view operating hours at each location.

Corporate Installs Image Return

DALLAS- Image Deposit Return service from Southwest Corporate is now available to credit unions in the Federal Reserve's 11th District with nationwide roll-out coming as soon as July the corporate credit union announced. The solution automates items returning from member deposits, eliminating paper check delivery to the credit union. Returns are sent directly to Southwest Corporate from direct-exchange banks, image exchange networks and the Federal Reserve, thereby reducing the potential for losses. It will also eliminate courier costs after the Fed collapses all paper check processing to its Cleveland office by the fourth quarter.

Olmstead Adds 27 CU Clients

DUBLIN, Ohio-R.C. Olmstead is surpassing its 2008 renewal pace as 27 credit union clients have re-committed to the firm's core processing solution in the last 12 months by signing long-term deals, the data processing company said. The firm said it has been able to hold on to market share because its core system is considered a "reliable workhorse" in the industry.

IMM Remote Signing Ticks Up

LINDEN, N.J.-Integrated Media Management saw a more than 36% quarter-over-quarter increase in the number of remote signing events using TotaleAtlasWeb, the company announced. The volume uptick is consistent with its client growth and volume growth through all of 2008; IMM achieved triple the number of signing events last year over the one previous.

Fiserv Signs 11 More CUs

BROOKFIELD, Wis.-11 new credit unions signed with Fiserv to utilized its Portico, OnCU and CUBE data processing system, the technology services provider said. New York City-based St. Vincent's Employees FCU also moved from its existing Fiserv platform to OnCU. The new clients include: Forward Financial CU, Lampco FCU, 1st Bergen FCU, Montgomery FCU, Rochester & Monroe County Employees FCU, Rochester Area State Employees FCU, Schuylkill FCU, Baptist Hospital CU, Iowa Community CU, Lower Columbia Longshoremen's FCU and Munising CU.

Pelican State CU To Use AppOne

BATON ROUGE, La.-Fellow Bayou-based Pelican State Credit Union has inked a deal with AppOne to utilize its lending platform. The credit union will now be better able to connect with auto, marine and RV dealerships across the state and offer financing options for their customers. AppOne also provides risk mitigation services as well as compliant loan documentation that allow credit unions to expedite the loan process and ensure that the dealerships with which they do business meet industry regulations.

More than 25% of the credit union's members live outside of its charter area, making the TotaleAtlasWeb remote signature capture and delivery solution critical to member convenience and boosting retention.

VCU Signs With Online Resources

CHANTILLY, Va.-Virginia Credit Union signed a multi-year deal with Online Resources to utilize its online banking and bill pay services the technology provider announced. VCU will use the Unite Financial Services Suite hosted by Online Resources, which gives the $1.8-billion credit union to extensively modify the interface and include e-statements and check imaging for its members. The platform should be in place by Q4.

Mobile MoneySM Streamlined

BROOKFIELD, Wis.-Fiserv has released a streamlined version of its Mobile MoneySM solution that can be rapidly deployed by financial institutions. With the new Mobile Money FastTrackT members can access their accounts with a mobile browser, via SMS or with a downloaded application. The solution includes functions such as balance inquiries, transaction history, account transfers, bill payments, account alerts and ATM/branch locators. Mobile Money FastTrackT is available either in-house or hosted and can be deployed within 90 days, Fiserv said.

KING OF PRUSSIA, Penn.-FI Compliance Solutions released its 2.0 version of GRC Pro.
