CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A man who allegedly carjacked and kidnapped a woman at gunpoint Wednesday morning was arrested after he sent the victim into her credit union yesterday morning to withdraw cash and employees called the police.

When police arrived to the State Employees CU branch they found the suspect hiding in the backseat of the victim’s car armed with a gun and he threatened to shoot them. The suspect was subdued after officers surrounded the car and shot him with a Taser gun.
The woman was abducted around 10 am on Wednesday from a nearby parking lot, then 24 hours later forced to drive her car to the credit union. The suspect allegedly forced the victim to go inside and get cash while he hid in the car.
