MOOSE LAKE, Minn. Lake State CU is opening its first branch in Duluth that will have no teller windows and no tellers on-site, but instead will offer interactive video teller machines.
The interactive teller machines will be a first for northern Minnesota, and can perform 95% of the business done by on-site tellers, the credit union said. They can even start the loan process.
The tellers who appear on the credit union’s machines in Duluth actually will be in Moose Lake, where the credit union is based.
Lake State will have two interactive teller machines and one ATM in the branch open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
