LSCU has moved to the "Credit Union Center," which currently houses offices of Corporate One FCU, Columbus, Ohio, and Member Business Solutions.

LSCU & Affiliates President/CEO Patrick La Pine said the move will upgrade the league's Tallahassee facilities while providing a better working space for staff.

"Once we sell our existing property in Tallahassee, we will see significant savings," said La Pine. "We also signed a new lease for our Birmingham office that downsizes our existing space and provides a better rate. These two moves will show about $2 million in savings over seven years."

The Birmingham office will also see lease-holder improvements by the end of the first quarter of 2014. The savings from the facility moves and upgrades will help in the long-term sustainability of LSCU, according to La Pine.
