Progress Software said that Marinette County Employees Credit Union in Marinette, Wis., has chosen its Sharetec core software system. The solution is distributed by Bradford-Scott Data Corp., and will save the credit union 25% annually over its former online application, the company said. The solution is based on the Progress OpenEdge platform and uses the business logic scripting capabilities of the 4GL and the Progress RDBMS. The company said that the credit union has tripled its assets since making the move.
