PAWTUCKET, R.I. - (07/29/05) -- A former employee at Pawtucket CUwas charged Thursday with stealing more than $130,000 from thecredit union.Rosemarie Valentim, 47, who worked as a customerservice representative, faces one count of embezzlement and anotherof accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes. Valentim allegedyused the company?s computers to access customer accounts and stealmore thasn $130,000 over the past two years. The money went intoher personal bank accounts and to a local car dealership, where shepurchased several vehicles, according to police.
