Member Service Rep Confesses To Stealing $31,000 To Gamble With

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. – A member service representative at Jefferson Parish Employee FCU admitted she stole $31,000 from member accounts.

Leslie Leblanc, 24, said she took the money from her teller drawer over a period of 10 months but lost most of it gambling at casinos, according to authorities. She also used some of the money to pay bills.

Leblanc was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon at home and then taken to the Sheriff's Office Investigations Bureau where detectives questioned her about the theft.
