YUMA, Ariz. — The offices and branches of AEA Federal Credit Union here are covered in “Thank You” notes following a Thanksgiving promotion in which the credit union asked members and employees to write a short note about what they are thankful for.
The credit union had placed at teller windows within branches pads of notes that were printed with the headline, “I am thankful for…” and then use a marker to complete their thoughts. Members could then tape the note to the wall. According to the credit union, members responded with everything from God to family to cool weather to teachers. Members also could e-mail the credit union over what they are thankful for.
During Thanksgiving, AEA FCU donated a turkey to the local Crossroads Mission for each vehicle financed in November that was purchased through a local car dealership.
