Members Petition To Protect The TaxExemption

RIDGECREST, Calif. - (12/08/04) -- AltaOne FCU is collecting membersignatures on a petition supporting the credit union tax exemption.The petitions are placed near brochures explaining the credit uniondifference that have been placed in the credit union's ninebranches. "We want our members to be informed of the tax exemptionissue but also to have a good understanding of the differencebetween credit unions and banks," said CEO Robert M. Boland.
