MILWAUKEE - (08/25/04) -- Metavante Corp. said it has agreedto acquire Response Data Corp., a Parsippany, N.J., financialtransaction processor, for $34 million in cash. The deal is thefourth acquisition this year by Metavante, a wholly owned unit ofbank holding company Marshal & Ilsley. Earlier this yearMetavante acquired the NYCE electronic funds transfer network;Advanced Financial Solutions (AFS) and the Kirchman Corp. ResponseData provides balance transfer, bill pay and checkprocessing.
