Mid-States To Assist In Ukraine

The $4.4-billion Mid-States Corporate FCU (Mid-States) has signed a mentoring agreement with the Ukrainian National Credit Union Association of Savings and Credit Unions (Ukrainian Association). Under the agreement, signed by Mid-States' CEO David Preter and Ukrainian Association President Petro Kozynets, Mid- States will provide advisory guidance to the Ukrainian Association to facilitate its rendering of services to Ukrainian credit unions. The targeted services include liquidity planning, lending, asset-liability management and technological services. Mid-States will also participate in educational conferences and training programs designed to enhance the Ukrainian Association's promotion of products and services to credit unions. The meeting was arranged by Bohdan Watral, the President of Selfreliance Ukrainian FCU of Chicago.
