GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - (04/24/06) Members First Mortgage LLC, aCUSO providing mortgage banking for 50 area credit unions,announced last week it has acquired CUMC Mortgage Co., a15-year-old mortgage CUSO which serves more than 40 credit unionsin the region. Members First Mortgage, which was formed bySteelcase Employees CU, LSi CU and Bay Winds FCU, also said ithired Kathy Carlson, as its new president/CEO. Terms of the dealwere not disclosed. CUMC has offices in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo,Mich.
