The Mountain West Credit Union Foundation in Denver has consolidated several programs into a single center for leadership development.
The foundation has combined existing and new programs to create the Center for Credit Union Leadership, including programs for executive leadership, emerging CEO leadership, leadership research, action grants and awards.
"Our goal with this new division is to provide an umbrella brand by which we can both invest in the futures of industry leaders, and be model for this type of program within the industry," Dan Santangelo, the foundation's executive director, said in a news release.
The programs range in scope and length; the Executive Leadership Program, for example, is a five-year program.
