NAFCU Names New Chairman

ARLINGTON, Va. - (06/07/06) – John Milazzo, president ofBaton Rouge, La.-based Campus FCU, was named chairman of the NAFCUBoard Tuesday. Milazzo, who has served on the panel since 1999,gained prominence last year as a spokesman for credit unions in theaftermath of Hurricane Katrina, which brought hundreds of thousandsof New Orleans refugees to his Capital city. Milazzo willofficially succeed current chairman Mike Vadala at NAFCU’sannual conference next month in Toronto. The NAFCU Board alsoelected Bradley Beal, president of Nevada FCU, as its vicechairman; Michael Lussier, president of Webster (Mass.) First FCU,as treasurer; and David Gilbert, chairman of the board of AberdeenProving Ground (Md.), as secretary.
