The National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) has named Sandra J. Troutman as its VP-government relations. Troutman will replace Jonathan Lindley, who had served as vice president of national advocacy.
For the past 10 years Troutman has served as director of corporate communications and PR with WesCorp, San Dimas Calif. She has a Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne College of Law, and an MBA from the University of La Verne.
"Her legal background, business knowledge and credit union communications experience will benefit NASCUS greatly as we continue to champion the state CU system before the US Congress and work in tandem with other credit union organizations to meet shared goals," said NASCUS President Mary Martha Fortney.
