Navy Fed Adds Two More Branches

VIENNA, Va. – Navy FCU, the fast-growing credit union giant, said it plans to open two more branches next month, one in the nearby Pentagon and one in the town of Largo, Md., giving the $45 billion credit union a total of 185 branches.

The branch openings come as the world’s biggest credit union is putting the finishing touches on an acquisition of San Diego’s USA FCU and 19 of its branches, 11 of them overseas.

Navy Fed has added 12 branches in 2010 and plans to open as many as four more in the first quarter of 2011.
