ALEXANDRIA, Va. - (08/11/04) -- NCUA said it made two more loansthrough its community development revolving loan fund in June andJuly. The loans went to Sunflower U.P. FCU, Marysville, Kan.($46,600) and Syracuse Cooperative FCU, Syracuse, N.Y. ($299,000).The loans were only the sixth and seventh made by the fund so farthis year. The fund, which has expanded the money available fortechnical assistance grants, has been inundated with 311 requestsfor a total of $2.8 million in TA grants and has awarded 145 grantsfor a total of $603,000 through the first seven months of2004.
