NCUA Releases Improved Insurance Coverage Estimator

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — NCUA released its Share Insurance Estimator Tuesday, a redesigned version of the agency's E-Calculator, to provide members with an easier way to obtain answers to questions about their share insurance and keep track of their coverage.

NCUA said that the new online tool is easier to navigate than its predecessor and has expanded content. Users can input information while simultaneously using reference materials. The enhancements also provide users with additional information for using the Share Insurance Estimator.

"NCUA encourages credit unions to share with their members this useful tool and other consumer information resources available on our consumer website MyCreditUnion.gov," NCUA Board Chairman Debbie Matz said.
