New CU Tower To Stand Tall In Long IslandCity

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. - (11/07/05) -- In another sign of resurgence forthis Manhattan suburb, the United Nations FCU celebrated a toppingoff last week of a 16-story office building that will house its newheadquarters. The 120,000-square-foot building will be located atCourt Square Place, across the street form the planned Citibanktower, scheduled to be opened in a year. The fast-growing $2billion credit union plans to occupy half of the space and leaseout the rest to financial firms and corporations.
