CHICAGO – New York-based Polish & Slavic FCU this week opened its third area branch here in the suburb of Bridgeview to serve the area’s big Polish-American population.

The $1.4 billion credit union expanded into the Midwest last year with new branches in Mt. Prospect and Norridge. Since then, the credit union has added more than 2,500 Illinois residents to its membership rolls and more than $40 million in deposits.

NCUA Board member Michael Fryzel, a Polish-American Chicago native, joined officials from the credit union for the grand opening this week.
