Bienz New CEO At Partners 1st
FORT WAYNE, Ind.-Partners 1st FCU has named Carla C. Bienz as its new president/CEO. Bienz had previously been EVP, and has been with the $230-million CU for more than 30 years.

SALEM, Ore.-The Oregon Senate passed an update to the Oregon Credit Union Act that makes several changes to the state charter, including amending requirements for meetings of boards to permit greater scheduling flexibility.
DTECU Buys Real Estate Firm
LAKE JACKSON, Texas-The $1.6-billion Texas Dow Employees CU has acquired local Birdsong Real Estate, and said it will now offer full real estate services through its new agency, TDECU Real Estate, LLC. CEO Ed Speed noted that agency has a strong foothold in the community, including handling 25% of the market for single-family residential real estate transactions in Lake Jackson.
