CU Of Southern California Signs With Auto Expert

BREA, Calif.-Credit Union of Southern California has chosen Auto Expert, a CUSO owned by nearby Altura CU, to provide its members with online car buying services. Auto Expert offers auto locating and buying services for 18 credit unions.

 

Northrup Grumman FCU Signs With Connect Financial

GARDENA, Calif.-Northrup Grumman Federal Credit Union has selected Connect Financial Software Solutions to provide it with its consumer suite of Internet Banking and customization services. Connect said its online banking solution will be tailored to fit the $880-million credit union's specific member and operating needs.

 

Central Sunbelt FCU Names Pennsylvania Exec As CEO

LAUREL, Miss.-Central Sunbelt FCU has hired W. Christopher Hammond, the head of $125-million 1st Ed CU in Chambersburg, Penn., as president and CEO of the $165-million credit union. Hammond's career includes more than 15 years of CU experience, 12 of them as a CEO. Chartered as the Masonite Employees FCU in 1953, the name was changed to Central Sunbelt FCU in 1983 to reflect the inclusion of other employee groups into the field of membership.

 

Fifth Third Takes On Vantiv Name

CINCINNATI-Fifth Third Processing Solutions, which has emerged as a major player in the credit union market, announced it is changing its name and brand to Vantiv.

Fifth Third, which acquired the processing business of TNB Card Services last year and now serves 800 credit unions, said the new Vantiv brand will evolve over time across different parts of the company, including card services, fraud prevention, and eCommerce.
