North Carolina SECU Gives $125,000 To Fund Public TV Nature Program

RALEIGH, N.C. – State Employees’ CU gave a $125,000 grant to help continue production of "Exploring North Carolina" a five-time Emmy nominated nature program that airs on UNC–TV.

The grant goes to the Friends of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, the group that helps to produce the show.

First aired in 2005, "ENC" features the plants, animals, geology, and history – both natural and social – of the state. The show as become one of the most popular programs on UNC-TV.
