PORTLAND, Ore. - (01/24/05) -- Northwest Corporate CU said it hasimplemented a a high-performance optical network provided byPortland-based EasyStreet Online Services and OnFiberCommunications, Inc. The corporate credit union is using theEthernet-based network for a more efficient and cost-effective wayto transfer its bandwith image files. OnFiber's Ethernet networkprovides high-speed connections to the company's external datacenter at EasyStreet and for Internet access to its more than 250credit union members. The system is expected to facilitate thecorporate's new check imaging repository service.
