HERNDON, Va. – Northwest FCU said its Northwest FCU Foundation has awarded a total of $20,000 four Fairfax County public schools to be used for staff professional development and technological advances for the classroom.
The donations were made to Dranesville Elementary, Louise Archer Elementary, Rachel Carson Middle and Herndon High schools.
The credit union’s non-profit Foundation has awarded a total of $93,581in grants to the four partner schools since 2005 for the purchase of SMART Boards for classrooms and professional staff development training.
