Equifax Releases New Tools
ATLANTA-Equifax has released a suite of "ability-to-pay" assessment tools to help credit card issuers comply with the amendments to Regulation Z, including verified as well as modeled personal and household income and wealth information that were built using actual wealth and income data provided through Equifax's IXI and TALX
businesses. The data sets can be distributed real-time online or batch-delivered offline.

DAYTON, Ohio-Distributed check capture provider Panini has launched a Check 21 initiative for credit unions in which it is offering joint marketing programs, a strategic channel program, special resources for credit unions and its own check capture solutions. Included in the offer is a free check scanner for every four purchased scanners.

30 CUs Sign For Acct. Processing
BROOKFIELD, Wis.-Fiserv reported it signed 30 new credit union clients to contracts for its account processing solutions in 2009, with assets ranging from $3.2 million to $3 billion. Separately, Fiser has also expanded its prepaid card production and packaging facilities and capabilities, and added a wider a range of card materials for clients to choose from, including PVC, recycled stock, Teslin and paper.

XTend Deploys LIVECHAT
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-Xtend, Inc. will deploy the LIVECHAT Contact Center solution from LIVECHAT Software for its web chat proof-of-concept project. LIVECHAT will support its B2B service offerings, while at the same time working with its core data processing partner, CU*Answers, to integrate LIVECHAT into an authenticated home banking B2C solution. Separately, Xtend has been selected selected by Rogers City, Mich.-based Calcite CU to co-develop and execute its 2010 marketing plan, including boosting cross-sales.
