Alliant CU Signs On With CU 24
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-Credit Union 24, Inc., the only national credit union-owned POS network in the U.S., said that the $4.5-billion Alliant Credit Union has become the newest member-owner of the Credit Union 24 EFT network. The move means Alliant Credit Union's more than 200,000 members will have surcharge-free access at more than 12,000 Credit Union 24 CU ATMs nationally. Alliant Credit Union is the 26th credit union to become part of the Credit Union 24 EFT network in 2007 and joins other recent new participants, including the $1.6-billion Tower FCU.

MasterCard Offers Holiday Promo
PURCHASE, N.Y.-This holiday season, MasterCard is celebrating the spirit of giving with its 2007 holiday promotion titled, MasterCard "Joy of Giving." which runs through Jan. 2. The promotion will give consumers a chance to win two identical prizes, one to keep and the other to give to "someone who matters most," via a sweepstakes and an Instant Win Game. MasterCard cardholders simply use their MasterCard credit or debit cards for qualified purchases during the promotion period to be entered in the sweepstakes. Nine winners will each choose from a pool of four prize packages: cars, exotic getaways for four, pieces of jewelry or home entertainment packages. Fair Isaac, PRBC To Partner
MINNEAPOLIS-Fair Isaac and Payment Reporting Builds Credit, a credit information repository that collects, verifies and scores rental and bill payment data, said they will collaborate to combine PRBC's Credit Report with FICO Expansion Score. It described the effort as a comprehensive credit risk management tool that mortgage lenders use when assessing the risk of applicants who have little or no traditional credit history. The combined package will report rental and bill payment data from PRBC's repository, non-traditional credit history data from third-party sources and traditional tri-merge credit bureau data when available.
