Mixed Bundle Deposit ATM Bows
AUSTIN, Texas–Wincor Nixdorf said it has released the industry’s first mixed bundle deposit ATM. The new Wincor Nixdorf ATM allows consumers to deposit a mixed stack of cash and checks at the same time in a single deposit slot with no envelope, significantly increasing efficiency for financial institutions, the company reported. Financial institutions currently using Wincor Nixdorf’s bulk check deposit ATMs can convert to allow mixed bundle deposits with a modular equipment upgrade. The mixed bundle ATM enables consumers to deposit stacks of up to 50 mixed cash and checks in one transaction, as opposed to a separate transaction for each, the total time spent at the ATM is drastically reducing time spent at the ATM, the company said.

100 CUs Sign On For C3
SOUTHFIELD, Mich.–Central Corporate Credit Union (CenCorp) is reporting that more than 100 credit union branches in Michigan have now signed-up for the Ceto Cash Calculator (C3). C3 is a web-based vault cash management tool that helps credit unions minimize their non-interest earning cash balances and optimize the frequency/timing of vault cash ordering, CenCorp said. The solution is offered through an agreement with the product’s developer, Ceto and Associates. CenCorp reported that C3 users have generally decreased their vault cash levels by more than 20% after implementing the program.

Payment Industry Insider Debuts
DES MOINES, Iowa–The Members Group (TMG) has launched “Payment Industry Insider,” a blog it says is “directed towards credit union professionals who want to stay informed regarding the latest trends impacting financial institutions.” The blog is designed as a forum for the exchange ideas and opinions, according to TMG.
