Orange County’s CU Gets $40,000 Financial Ed Grant

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Orange County’s CU was awarded a $40,000 grant from the Richard Myles Johnson Foundation to fund financial education through two local community groups.

The funds will help teach students the Cerritos College in Norwalk, Calif., about financial aid and investing; and teach youth with the Long Beach Community Hispanic Association about financial issues.

The Foundation, named for former WesCorp FCU CEO Dick Johnson, also gave $16,150 to Santa Cruz Community CU to help fund its new financial literacy program for foster children.
