ARVADA, Colo. — Partner Colorado Credit Union paid its members a $600,000 owner dividend bonus in December.
Last year the $250 million institution paid a bonus dividend of $700,000, bringing the CU's two-year payout total to $1.3 million.
PCCU earned $1.3 million in net income through the end of October and capital stands above 13%.
"The dividend bonus is a nice payback to our member/owners when we are doing well and capital remains strong," said CEO Sundie Seefried. "It is an ideal way for us to reward the members/owners of this financial cooperative. Our ability to pay a dividend each year largely depends on member involvement — the more relationships our members have with their credit union, the greater the revenue available."
