BALLLSTON SPA, N.Y. – A church pastor pleaded guilty yesterday to embezzling $400,000 as marketing director for Hudson Valley Community CU.

Jason LaPierre, 35, confessed to police to depositing and cashing numerous fake and forged checks to withdraw money from the credit union.

Under terms of a plea agreement, the credit union executive agreed to serve three to nine years in prison and pay restitution to the credit union.
