Patriot FCU To Pay $25,000 Per Year To Run High School Branch

CHAMBERSBURG, Penn. – Patriot FCU received approval from the local school board to open a student-run branch in Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

Patriot will pay the district $25,000 per year to operate the branch throughout the four-year agreement. The school district will reimburse Patriot for a portion of the construction costs up to $12,000, but the district received a $12,000 grant from State Farm for the project.

Patriot will provide branch supplies, including an ATM. A credit union manager will be on site during operating hours.

The branch is slated for opening in August.
