PAWTUCKET, R.I. Pawtucket CU said yesterday it has contracted with Open Solutions for the company’s image based and processing solutions.
The $870 million credit union already uses the company’s The Complete Credit Union Solution core processing system. Pawtucket will now have the ability to capture images of paper transactions at branch locations and transmit images for proof-of-deposit electronically, eliminating the need to transport or archive paper documents.
Open Solutions is a unit of private equity fund The Carlyle Group.
