DENHAM SPRINGS, La. – Pelican State CU hosted its 6th annual Kids Bike Race last Saturday in Denham Springs.
More than100 kids ages 12 and under enjoyed bike racing, face painting, space walks, refreshments, fire truck tours, first-aid classes and much more. Each bike race participant received a medal of completion and a bag of goodies. Free bicycles were raffled off for each age group.
Sponsors include Smoothie King, Animated Art Face Painting, Southside Produce, Denham Springs Sheriff’s office, Sport-N-Center, Coca-Cola, the Livingston Parish Library, Denham Springs Fire Department, Chili’s and Wal-Mart.
