Polam FCU Breaks Ground on New Offices

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Polam (Polish American) FCU last week broke ground on a new east coast headquarters in this heavily Polish community. The five-story project is scheduled for completion in September 2008.

The $60 million Redwood City, Calif.-based credit union sees the project as a jumping off point for regional expansion, with additional sites eyed in New Haven, Stamford and Bristol.

The credit union already is involved in the local community, providing citizenship classes for its Polish members, and hosting the Polish consul for citizenship bids.
