Post Office Employees FCU in Shreveport, La., has selected Sharatec System as its new core provider.
Among the services Sharatec System will offer the credit union's members are Bill Pay/Picture Pay, mobile banking, home banking and online loan applications. The credit union's staff will work with such new features as Sharetec Automated 5300.
"Our current core system met our needs as a mid-sized, closed-SEG credit union for many years, but recently we received approval to open up membership to an underserved area near our newest branch," Fred McCoy, chief executive of Post Office Employees, said in a release on Wednesday. "We needed to form a partnership with our core processor based on the mutual desire to enhance the financial well-being of our members through new features not currently available."
