ServiceCorp To Rebate $80,000

INDIANAPOLIS-The Indiana Credit Union League's Servicecorp subsidiary is rebating a total of $80,550 to credit unions that have used its services this year. Rebates are going to clients in four product and service areas: Card Services; CUNA Mutual Group products; shared branching and Harland check printing.

Credit unions will receive amounts ranging up to $5,000 based on each credit union's usage of the products and services. In addition to the client rebate, Servicecorp made an additional $16,500 donation in December to the Indiana Credit Union Foundation, bringing its total 2005 donations to that organization to $49,600. Servicecorp will also be disbursing more than $33,000 this month to 19 credit unions to help them send a representative to the CUNA's GAC.

CU24 Expands POS Access

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-Credit Union 24 said it has expanded POS access for cardholders through several new indirect processing agreements. Gateway agreements with First Data Merchant Services, Chase Merchant Services and Bank of America Merchant Services have expanded Credit Union 24's POS footprint at nationally known retailers like Sears, Target, Victoria's Secret, The Limited, Bath & Body Works and many more, Credit Union 24 reported.

Mid-Atlantic Offers Lockbox Service

MIDDLETOWN, Penn.-Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU has begun offering wholesale lockbox services to credit unions, meaning it can process payments on behalf of credit unions and their business service members that are not machine readable or of an automated processing standard. The introduction of a wholesale lockbox service provides credit unions with a niche service that can be offered by the credit union as a payment alternative, primarily for business service members, the corporate said.
