REDWOOD CITY, Calif. Provident Credit Union said it has implemented Hyland Software’s OnBase enterprise content management system to manage records, streamline business processes and provide exceptional member service.
The former IBM FileNet customer said it selected Hyland because if the company’s innovative product roadmap and annual product release to support the credit union’s future goals.
Hyland said OnBase will help Provident Credit Union better manage members’ records, from initial scanning of documents on the front end and throughout a member’s history with the credit union, to deliver superior member service.
“User experience was declining with our prior system because the solution did not have the advanced search capabilities users needed,” said Vivian Wang, project manager for the $1.7-billion credit union. “OnBase stands out as an ECM solution because of its superior search and workflow capabilities.”
By capturing documents and data electronically, then storing information in a central, secure location, Hyland said Provident CU will reduce costs in storage and shipping and will unite its 18 branches. The credit union also will adopt an easier information flow, and the ability to retrieve members’ records immediately, with the click of a button.
