Corporate Central Credit Union is offering a $500 rebate in monthly services for newly chartered credit unions that use its products and services to assist low income populations.
"We have offered something similar for some time," said Nancy Wetzel, SVP-operations. "For a few years, we were more targeted toward credit unions with a community development designation."
She said one credit union has already taken advantage of that program.
The hope is that the most recent offer will lure new CUs to Corporate Central's products and services that include ACH, cash delivery, corporate checking, deposit, funds transfer, information technology and item processing.
Wetzel said for those who qualify, the $500 would be deducted from the fees normally charged to member CUs for those products and services.
Corporate Central has about $1.7 billion in assets and 350 members.
