WORCESTER, Mass. - (10/07/04) -- Digital FCU said it has struck a10-year, $5.2 million naming rights deal with the Worcester CentrumCentre, a regional locale for major sports events and concerts thatwill now be known as DCU Center. The new name will be phased in atthe 22-year-old entertainment center over the next two months.Under the deal, DCU, the largest credit union in New England, willpay $4.8 million up front and pay to install five exterior signs,as well as an interior marketing kiosk at the convention center.DCU, based in nearby Marlboro, Mass., has 235,000 members and $2.4billion in assets.
