A bandit who robbed a branch of Delaware FCU here dropped the loot while running away, and then was robbed himself when someone else grabbed it. The teenager entered the credit union, leaped over the counter and held tellers at gunpoint as a black bag was filled with cash. He fired one shot before jumping back over the counter and fleeting.
The teenage boy has been arrested in the case, but no charges have been filed. A police spokesperson said a police officer encountered the robber running from the credit union with a gun in hand and ordered him to stop. He dropped the bag of cash in the street but kept on running. When police returned for the bag of money, it was gone.
