ALLENTOWN, Penn. – A robber will serve up to 14 years in state prison for two credit union hold-ups in Allentown and Bethlehem in which more than $217,700 was stolen and a credit union president was struck on the head with a gun.
Gregory Brown, 37, pleaded guilty in May to participating in the Nov. 7, 2006 hold-up at Paragon FCU in Bethlehem when he and two other men got away with more than $150,000; and to the Sept. 17, 2007 robbery at First Class FCU in Allentown, when he and four other men stole more than $67,700.
Earlier this month, two others involved in one of the robberies pleaded guilty. Two others have been charged and are awaiting trial.
