The credit union sold the branch building for $1 to the school, which will use it to help train students in law enforcement. The credit union facility, part of the school’s four-building “Simulation City,” has been used for a variety of simulations from bank robberies to crime scenes.
The other buildings in Simulation City help train local firefighters; teach recovery from floods and provide a model for transportation terminals. The terminals are used for the truck driving programs and simulate different terrains and conditions which may be difficult to find in the area.
