SAN MATEO, Calif. – San Mateo CU yesterday said it has installed Fortinet’s FortiGate-800 and FortiGate-60 security appliances to protect in-branch online transactions for its 60,000 members and the corporate network used by employees.
FortiGate-60 appliances are equipped with multiple functions, such as antivirus, anti-spam, firewall and intrusion detection.
The $600 million credit union also centralized management of all distributed Fortinet appliances by deploying the Fortinet FortiManager at its headquarters office. The FortiManager system is an integrated management and monitoring platform that enables organizations of any size to easily manage Fortinet products.
